Description

New construction of a composite steel bridge over the Renkertobel as part of the expansion of the OA9 district road from Obermaiselstein to Balderschwang in construction section 10. The superstructure is planned as a single-span girder with a span of 86.40 m and runs in a straight line over the valley incision. The gradient has a longitudinal slope of 2.2% towards Balderschwang.
The bridge cross-section is designed as a two-web plate girder consisting of two tightly welded steel boxes and the lightly reinforced reinforced concrete roadway slab in composite construction. The structural height of the superstructure is approx. 4.25 m at the abutments, with the box-shaped webs being manufactured with a slight fillet (stitch ~25 cm) on the underside. The two box webs are coupled to each other at every second cross bulkhead. The steel superstructure was manufactured using the incremental launching method via a centrally arranged auxiliary support in the Tobel.
