Description
In the course of the new construction of the BAB A94 Munich-Mühldorf, section Pastetten-Dorfen, the new construction of structure K31/1 Lappach Valley Bridge was necessary. The valley bridge spans the Lappach Valley with FFH area and the municipal connecting roads Lappach-Berg and Lappach-Osendorf.
The structure is a 4-span prestressed concrete bridge with a total length between the end supports of l= 287.00m. The individual support widths of both superstructures in the BAB axis are 58.50m- 85.00m- 85.00m- 58.50m. The single-cell hollow boxes, which are separated for both directional lanes, were constructed in composite construction. They are prestressed in the longitudinal direction (requirement class C) and reinforced without prestressing in the transverse direction (requirement class D). The structural height of the superstructures follows a parabola of the 3rd order varying between a minimum h=2.60m in the field and a maximum of 5.0 m above the supports. The superstructure width between the cornices is b=15.045m for the northern superstructure and b= 15.385m for the southern superstructure. The two superstructures differ in the width of the superstructure cantilever arms and slightly in the position of the carriageway in relation to the superstructure axis.
The fixed point of the superstructure is at the abutment in axis 10. The superstructure is supported by spherical bearings with one transverse restraint each in axes 20-50 and longitudinal restraints in axis 10.
Both superstructures were mainly constructed using the cantilever method, the closures to the two abutments were made on scaffolding. Starting in axis 40, the cantilever sections on the supports were constructed with a cantilever arm length of maximum 40.75 m on each side. After the scaffolding section to the abutment axis 50 had been completed, the closures between the cantilever sections were made one after the other, and finally the scaffolding section to the abutment axis 10.
