As a planning office with many years of experience in the recalculation and assessment of existing structures, we offer our clients a comprehensive range of services, which we specifically expand through modern monitoring solutions. Building on the findings from structural inspections and computational verifications, monitoring enables a precise recording of the actual load-bearing and deformation behavior during operation. In this way, assumptions from the recalculation can be validated, safety-relevant developments can be identified early on, and reliable statements can be made about the structural remaining service life.

We develop customized monitoring concepts and implement them for a wide variety of structures – for example, for bridges that are particularly at risk of stress corrosion cracking, or for coupling joints of prestressed concrete structures. In addition to conventional measurement technology, we also use state-of-the-art techniques such as fiber optic sensors and acoustic emission analysis to continuously and highly precisely monitor loads, crack propagation, and potential damage. Implementation takes place in close cooperation with competent specialist companies, industry partners, or the Technical University of Munich, which means that the latest scientific findings and innovative methods are directly incorporated into practice.

Our monitoring solutions range from temporary measurements to clarify specific issues to permanent monitoring as part of maintenance and compensation strategies. In this way, we create a reliable basis for well-founded decisions, especially when replacement construction or reinforcement measures cannot be implemented in the short term.
