Description

The Hunte Bridge is located in Lower Saxony near Oldenburg on the A29 section. The two superstructures of the replacement construction are each realized as a single-cell hollow box with a structural height of h = 3.50 m in prestressed concrete composite construction over eight fields. The spans are 47.00 m + 2 x 54.50 m + 80.00 m + 55.00 m + 2x 52.50 m + 45.00 m. The total length in the highway axis is thus 441.00 m. The production of both superstructures takes place using the incremental launching method, whereby these are each launched from the abutment in axis 10 in the direction of the abutment in axis 90 over a crest with 18 cycles. The total width of the superstructures between the railings is b = 31.95 m, which is divided equally between the superstructures of both directional lanes. The superstructure of the directional lane Osnabrück also has a cantilevered walkway and cycle path under the outer cantilever arm, which is subsequently manufactured in its final position. In the floor plan, the gradient runs in the structural axis in a radius of R = 15,005.500 m. In the elevation, the gradient of both superstructures runs in a crest with a high point between axis 40 and 50. The tangent inclination at the high point is 1.73% to one side and -1.80% to the other side, the crest radius is 13,489.852 m. The structure is only prestressed in the longitudinal direction with internal tendons in the subsequent bond as well as external tendons. For the launching over the Hunte field (l = 80.00 m), the existing piers
were used as auxiliary supports.

Special features

For the launching over the Hunte field, which has a span of 80.0 m in the final state, the two existing piers near the river were used as auxiliary supports. For this purpose, these were press-controlled in order to limit the axle load to a maximum of 10 MN.

With regard to the BEM-ING Part 1, which is about to be introduced, the permissible maximum prestressing force for the external prestressing was increased to 3.5 MN.

In the Hunte field, internal and external additional tendons were provided in the final position. The superstructure of the directional lane Osnabrück also has a cantilevered walkway and cycle path under the outer cantilever arm.
