Description
Bridge structure with a total length of approx. 10 km. Length of the main bridge (prestressed concrete box girder, 2 tracks) approx. 6.5 km; length of the branch bridge (prestressed concrete box girder, 2 tracks or 1 track) approx. 3.5 km. Also included are a steel arch bridge and a multi-cell prestressed concrete box girder bridge in the connection area of the branch. Production is mainly carried out using underlying, pier-supported launching girders; in some areas also with ground-supported falsework. In the standard area, the structure consists of a chain of two-field girders with 44 m single support width and 13.90 m width. In sections with larger spans of up to 70.0 m, haunched three-field girders are used. The multi-cell, 7-field prestressed concrete girder in the connection area of the branch widens to approx. 30 m.
Special features
- The production of several sections with a total length of 2 km is carried out worldwide for the first time using the advanced cantilever method (construction of the substructures from the cantilevered launching girder – without a construction road, to protect ecologically sensitive areas).
- The piers are mostly shallowly founded on a sheet pile box. The foundations transfer the loads into the box via head bolts welded laterally inside it.
- Simultaneous operation of up to 7 launching girders of different designs
- Multi-cell widened girder in the area of the junction with 7 fields. Multiple changes in the number of cells and internal webs on the inner crossbeams. Statically indeterminate support in the transverse direction on several piers that stand in pairs on common foundations.
- Partly very large spherical bearings with high longitudinal forces for which a trial installation (grouting) was required in advance.
- Resonance investigations for steel arch bridge and multi-cell box girder
