Description

  • 9-span prestressed concrete box girder bridge with 2 separate superstructures with individual support widths of 42.0 m to 60.0 m
  • Manufactured using the incremental launching method in composite construction with internal and external tendons
  • Structural height: 3.50 m, superstructure width including caps: 2 x 18.05 m, pier heights up to max. 22.0 m

Special features

  • Launching of the two superstructures in a trough (initially 1.7% downhill, then 1.0% uphill)
  • Launching without the arrangement of auxiliary supports; thus avoiding additional interventions in the drinking water protection zone
  • The launching over the largest span of 60.0 m is made possible in the construction state by a prestressed concrete extension of the steel cantilevered nose
  • Consideration of earthquake zone 1
  • Foundation using large bored piles, partly involving casing and base grouting
