Description

Bridge structure with a total length of 2.825 km, consisting of 6 structures (5 girder bridges, 1 cable-stayed bridge). Special proposals from Büchting + Streit are used for the foundation of the entire bridge structure (with the exception of BW 1.1) and the 4 prestressed concrete superstructures of BW 1.1 and BW 3 to BW 5.

Special features

• Caisson and bored pile construction from catamaran pontoons in water depths of up to 15 m. Underwater concrete base secured against buoyancy by piles.
• Verification of the absorption of the partially very high ship impact loads by dynamic calculations on the overall system.
• Manufacture of the slender prestressed concrete superstructures with overhead advancing scaffolding.
• Use of strand bundles for the stay cables of the steel bridge.
• Engineering clarification of many ambiguities in the new generation of standards.
